Coffee Staff Team Member (Tasting Room, Roasting & Fulfillment)

Prototype Coffee (883 East Hastings St, Vancouver) is growing its staff team. Staff are a welcoming, knowledgeable presence in the tasting room while brewing, roasting and serving coffee with precision and fulfilling online and wholesale orders. All staff learn the mechanics of coffee roasting, speak with customers about sourcing, processing and roasting, and are trained to taste and evaluate coffee and troubleshoot roast profiles and brew recipes; excellent long-term staff may be trained to roast. No previous coffee experience necessary. Preference for applicants available for at least one year of full-time work (32-40 h/week); part-time and temporary considered.
