Barista (Part-Time) - Phoenix

Cartel Roasting Co. is a specialty coffee roaster with cafés across Arizona. Now hiring part-time baristas for its Sky Harbor, Biltmore and Downtown Phoenix locations (weekend availability). As a Barista you interact with diverse guests while fine-tuning the craft of specialty coffee in a fast-paced, creative environment, with hands-on training in coffee sourcing, brewing and latte art. Responsibilities: prepare and serve espresso drinks, coffee and tea; describe menu items and educate guests on brew methods, whole-bean coffee and company philosophy; handle payments and reconcile the cash drawer; stock product and maintain retail displays; assist with inventory; clean and sanitize work areas; perform opening/closing procedures. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail, food service or customer service experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork.
