General Staff Job Description

Schedule: Full & Part Time
Working hours usually between 6AM - 10:30PM Monday-Saturday
Set hours but flexible scheduling
Be willing to sub as needed and available
Be willing to work Friday evening and Saturday rotations
Job Description:
- Has a heart for service and helping others.
- Provides a premium customer experience which includes service, quality of products, presentation, and environment.
- Interacts with customers and staff in a professional, sincere, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Produces and packages various high quality food and drink for customers, such as galettes, pies, pastries, desserts, sauces, and drinks.
- Presents food and drink in an artistic, clean, and functional manner to display.
- Works to continually improve their work skills and craft.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and well-organized work and service area including but not limited to espresso area, refrigeration, display and dining areas, floors, kitchen, restrooms, and counters.
- Performs all pre-shift and post-shift duties, side-work, and related paperwork. Operates the cash register, takes orders, and assists with all other areas of operation as assigned and needed.
- Helps put away orders, stock, and organize storage as needed
- May be responsible for opening and/or closing daily operations.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for people, food, and quality.
- Excellent communication and people skills. Prior food production and service experience in the hospitality industry preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and convert recipes.
- Standing up and moving about the work area for extended periods.
- Carrying or lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds, handling food, objects, products, and utensils, and bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Must be available to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and/or minor holidays as needed.

Range, Mixer, Oven, Scale, Knives, Cash Register, Espresso Machine, Coffee Brewer, Soda Dispenser, High Speed Convection Oven, Coffee Grinder, Blender, Dishwasher, and other equipment as necessary
