Established in 2004, the Real Eating Company is a purposefully small, founder-created, crafted and led, independent family of cafes and coffee shops that specialise in really good, all-day, unfussy food and great coffee. All 10 of our shops are located in beautiful Cathedral city and market town locations (mainly across the southeast) of England – really special lifestyle and visitor destinations that value quality, authenticity, and connection—just like we do.

Each town and city is different, and we've tried to respect that. We've always worked with smaller British food and drink producers and that has shaped a lot of what we've done over the years. And now, it feels more than ever, we've got our chance to bring our great coffee, British comfort food and cake, full English breakfasts and builders brew to a wider audience.” “We are properly independent (no PE backing or shareholders telling us what to do) so can make decisions with our customers and people very much front of mind. For us it’s all about an attitude – the rest can be taught. We care less about your past experience (although, naturally relevant experience would be helpful) and more about your approach and spirit.
