As our Barista, you will prepare high-quality coffee and beverages, take ownership of coffee quality and make every guest feel genuinely welcome. You will work closely with our Café Manager, chefs, baristas and waiters to provide service that is warm, authentic, thoughtful and connected. What we trust you with Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, specialty coffee and other beverages. Maintain consistently high standards of taste, presentation and service. Set up and adjust the grinder to ensure the correct coffee extraction. Work confidently with espresso preparation and alternative brewing methods. Monitor coffee quality throughout each shift. Create latte art, including hearts, tulips and rosettas. Use your knowledge of coffee, ingredients and brewing techniques to recommend drinks to guests. Listen to guest feedback and help us continuously improve our coffee offering. Keep the coffee shop, barista station and equipment clean, organised and ready for service. Follow all hygiene, food safety, beverage safety and brand standards. Build natural, friendly connections with guests. Support your colleagues during busy service periods. Contribute ideas about coffee trends, products, equipment and the wider coffee culture. Work flexible shifts according to the opening hours of ELIAS Coffee Shop. What makes you a match Have at least one year of experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop. Have a genuine passion for coffee and hospitality. Are confident in espresso preparation and grinder setup. Have experience with alternative coffee brewing methods. Know how to adjust your technique to maintain consistent coffee quality. Have at least intermediate latte art skills; you ca n create latte art patterns such as a heart, tulip or rosetta. Communicate naturally in English and Czech / Slovak. Remain calm, positive and professional during busy service. Pay attention to detail, consistency and presentation. Understand that excellent service combines technical skill with warmth and good timing. Have EU citizenship or valid work authorisation for the Czech Republic.
