We are looking for a skilled and friendly Experienced Barista to join our growing team.
Position Summary: The Experienced Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to our guests with precision and care. This role requires strong coffee-making knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso, coffee, and specialty drinks consistently.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment cleaning and daily café upkeep.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist in training and mentoring new baristas, sharing best practices and techniques.
- Manage inventory of coffee, milk, syrups, and other supplies, alerting management when restocking is needed.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of barista experience in a specialty coffee shop or café.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Positive attitude and genuine passion for coffee and hospitality.
Preferred Skills:
- Latte art proficiency.
- Knowledge of alternative brewing methods (pour-over, Chemex, AeroPress, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of bakery or pastry service (a plus).
