About the Role
House of Boateng is currently seeking a full time Server to join our amazing culinary team. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Excellent time management and communications skills • Knowledgable of Touch Bistro or similar restaurant POS • Minimum 1-year experience working in a similar position • Team player • Completion of Secondary School • Serve it Right Certificate • Customer Service This full time position offers: • $18.00 per hour and 4% vacation pay plus tips • $500 for Health Benefits • 25% discount at House of Boateng Café • 25% discount at HOB Fine Foods • 10% discount at for retail 25% discount at 900° Pizza • 10% discount at all Bread-and-Butter Collective restaurants • After one year of employment, House of Boateng will provide financial assistance for further wine education and development
Requirements
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Counter Server
- Running food
- Greeting and serving customer
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Making and serving drinks
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Lead by example (your work ethic encourages others to work hard)
- Responsible for sending daily reports including staff hours to Chef & Chef Assistant
- May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
