Baristas at Fig

In 2023, it is expected that there should be great espresso no matter where you are. Fig. is a cafe opening in April of this year to make that a reality on the banks of the Missouri River at 345 Riverfront Drive. Located in the Kiewit Luminarium, a cutting edge science and discovery museum, the cafe will serve great espresso drinks to guests of the museum and people who came to look at the river. Another fact is that great espresso does not make itself. Fig. is in search of three of the best baristas in town (or baristas willing to relocate to this awesome city). Attitude is as important as your skill on the machine because we will train you. If you are friendly, hard working, professional and have the ability to stay focused and cool during rushes then you are invited to apply. Training will be thorough and cover how factors such as grind, dose, freshness, and time affect the quality of an espresso shot. We will extensively cover the technique for pulling shots, steaming milk, and maintaining equipment. Training will be paid and begin in March.
