Scooper & Barista Position – The Dairy Ice-Creamery

We are looking for our next Ice-creamery Superstar. Do you have a bubbly friendly outgoing personality and a passion for excellence in customer service, food and coffee? We currently have shifts available in our busy ice-creamery in Cairns. Barista and Food Preparation and service skills would be well regarded as is a love of promoting our products, our biodynamic farming, and the local region. The ideal applicant will have the following attributes: 1-2 years of hospitality experience preferred, a proactive approach to resolving and building solutions, experience in ordering and stock rotation systems advantageous, previous money handling experience, minimum barista skills ideal, have a long term vision to work with and develop yourself while contributing to a small team and local business, ideally be a local or looking to stay in Cairns long term. Shifts will be a mix of daytime and afternoon/evening. You must have your own transport, available for some weekend and weekday shifts.
