Chef

The Chef role is central to the guest experience at Turtle Rock Café and Safari Lodge, delivering high-quality, fresh, and flavoursome meals in a unique rainforest and reef setting. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, manage menus, maintain food safety standards, and ensure consistency in quality and presentation. This role requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Experience Required

- 1-2 years+ experience in a Short Order Cook – Kitchen hand – Chef position
- Cooking Skills with the ability to design and deliver seasonal menus
- Knowledge of stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Minimum Requirements

- Food Handling Level 1 certificate
- RSA
- Current Driver’s Licence
- First Aid preferred
