Dishwasher

The Position
As a Dishwasher at Blackberry Market, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our kitchen and guest areas clean, safe, and running smoothly. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to get started in the restaurant industry. In addition to maintaining dishes and cleaning areas, you’ll support the overall flow of the restaurant by assisting with food running, dining room upkeep, and general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes using dish machines and 3-compartment sinks, following all health and safety guidelines
- Support front-of-house staff by running food, clearing tables, and maintaining clean dining areas
- Clean restrooms and all restaurant areas as needed, including floors, surfaces, and trash areas
- Assist with unloading and organizing weekly food and supply deliveries
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety issues, or injuries to a supervisor promptly

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- A team player with clear communication skills and a positive attitude
- Able to stay focused and productive while working independently
- Part-Time, 25 -30hrs/wk. Weekday availability required. Flexible weekend availability required. Must be available to work closing shifts from 10am - 6pm.
