About This Role

Are you a natural leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with a dynamic team? Then look no further! Copenhagen Coffee Lab is a handcrafted coffee roastery, wholesaler, café, and bakery chain founded in Copenhagen in 2013. Since 2013, we have made our presence in Denmark and throughout Europe, with 50 cafés in Denmark, Germany, France, and Portugal. We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager to lead our café operations and inspire a team of talented employees. At Copenhagen Coffee Lab, we believe that a great café is more than just coffee and food - it's about the atmosphere, the vibe, and the people. We are on a mission to provide quality coffee and pastries while fostering a sense of community among our team. If you have the character, personality, and passion to lead, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Lead by example, provide exceptional guest service, and set the bar high for your team. Oversee all café operations and ensure the smooth running of daily activities. Recruit, train, and motivate staff, fostering their career development and providing ongoing support. Ensure overall employee performance and individual development, including sales and customer relations knowledge. Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, ensuring consistency. Coordinate work schedules, ensuring proper coverage across shifts and stepping in when necessary. Act as a liaison between the café and other departments, relaying vital information to the team. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to optimize store performance. Develop and implement store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards. Manage supplier relationships, including inventory control and ordering necessary supplies. Adhere to financial procedures and ensure responsible money management. Maintain a clean and orderly café environment, including regular equipment maintenance. Ensure compliance with HACCP and food control regulations, prioritizing hygiene and safety protocols. Hold regular meetings with café staff to foster communication and team engagement. Participate in cluster meetings and attend weekly 1-on-1 meetings with the District Manager. Administrative tasks: While the majority of your time will be spent in the store, it is crucial for the Store Manager to handle administrative tasks efficiently. This may include inventory, scheduling, analyzing sales reports, and implementing strategies to meet sales targets. Please note: The administrative work should not exceed 20% of the total working time to maintain a balance between in-store duties and managerial responsibilities. Additionally, as part of this role, the Store Manager will be required to work every other weekend and cover one opening and one closing shift per week to ensure the smooth operation of the store and support the team's needs.
