About This Role

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our team. If you’re organised, enjoy leading a team, and are passionate about great food, drinks, and excellent customer service, this role is for you. You’ll help keep the café running smoothly, support and motivate the team, and ensure every customer leaves happy.

Duties will include:
- To assist with the management of all aspects of the running of the Cafe: preparing the weekly rota, opening and closing the shop, operating the till, maintaining stock levels, dealing with complaints, completing all relevant procedures, ordering, preparing and serving drinks and food.
- To organise all areas front of house into daily, weekly and periodic cleaning standards to achieve the highest levels of presentation at all times.
- To organise daily procedures for set up of all waiting stations, pass counter, bar areas, dining areas and for close down and to plan staff to take responsibility.
- To provide direct line management support, training and supervision to staff members.
- To not only be a good leader but also a key team player who can communicate well with clients, visitors and colleagues.
- To lead by example, creating a nice working environment where all staff members are empowered to give feedback and to challenge the status quo.
- You will be well organized, with excellent attention to detail and take great pride in overall customer experience.
- To provide the highest level of customer service in a busy environment, and make sure that the same level of customer service is offered from the staff.
- To report any problems to the Cafe Manager and/or General Manager.
- To ensure a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed.
- To make sure that food and drinks are prepared and served consistently to the highest quality possible, according to Aromi’s standards, and to make sure customers are satisfied.
- To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
