Job Summary:
The Farm/Facility Handyman supports the Kona Facility Manager with day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across farm properties, facilities, employee housing, vehicles, tools, and farm equipment. This position assists with preventative maintenance, minor repairs, groundskeeping, general cleaning, inventory support, and wet/dry mill operations as needed. The Farm/Facility Handyman plays an important role in keeping the farm, facilities, equipment, and work areas safe, organized, and operational.

1–2 years of experience in farm maintenance, facility maintenance, construction, equipment repair, or a similar hands-on role preferred. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, small equipment, vehicles, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, irrigation, or general repair work is preferred. Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and collaborate with farm and facility teams. Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers regarding repairs, safety concerns, supply needs, and work progress. Ability to safely lift, carry, load, unload, and move heavy materials, tools, equipment, and coffee bags as needed. Farm, facility, groundskeeping, equipment, or general maintenance experience preferred. Willingness to learn new skills and assist in different areas of farm and facility operations. Reliable, self-motivated, safety-focused, and able to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision. Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules when operational needs require. Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required.
