The Role
The Logistics Coordinator is an integral member of the Logistics and Warehouse teams at La Marzocco USA in Fort Wayne. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinator helps run our shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This is a hands-on job for someone who shows up, does the work right, and takes pride in a job well done. If you've got warehouse experience and know how to operate a forklift and pallet jack, we'd like to talk to you.
What you’ll do
Picking, Packing, and Loading Freight: Pull orders off the pick list, get them staged, and get the right paperwork on them. Load and unload trucks with a forklift or pallet jack. Double-check that what's going out matches what's on the paperwork before it leaves the dock.
Managing Inventory: Learn our inventory system inside and out. Assign stock to the right orders, do physical counts, and keep SAP and Shipstation up to date and accurate.
Handling Shipping Paperwork, Claims, and Returns: Put together shipping documents, process return requests, and follow freight claims through to the end.
Communicating with the Team: Keep other departments informed on order status and any special requests. Talk with the Logistics Team each day about shipping priorities so orders go out complete and on time.
Taking Care of Customers: Answer questions from customers and coworkers about order status. Track down and fix order problems, working with shipping carriers when needed. Help will-call customers pick up their orders and treat them right.
General Warehouse Work: Label and mark containers and products. Measure and weigh materials. Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, and follow safety procedures when picking orders.
