Barista

Equator Coffee Roasters is a community-based, quality-focused, mission-driven coffee roasting company based in Almonte, Ontario, and is hiring baristas across its Almonte, Stittsville and Westboro cafes on a full-time and part-time basis for immediate hire and for the fall. The ideal candidate provides outstanding customer service and experience, acts as an Equator brand ambassador, has previously worked as a barista, is a team player, prioritizes customer experience, learns about and promotes the cafes' products, and maintains high-quality coffee preparation and service. Part-time hours are 20-35 per week on 8-hour shifts; full-time applicants should be available 30-38 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, with a 12-month commitment ideal. Compensation is $15.35/hour and up plus tips, with extended health care benefits and full barista training provided, plus opportunity for growth within the company.
