Store Manager — Lisbon

Copenhagen Coffee Lab is a hand-crafted coffee roastery, wholesaler, cafe and bakery chain founded in Copenhagen in 2013, now running roughly 50 cafes across Denmark, Germany, France and Portugal. We are seeking an energetic, motivated Store Manager to run cafe operations in Lisbon and lead a team. The role leads by example on guest service, oversees all day-to-day cafe operations, recruits, trains and motivates staff and supports their career development, and maintains food and beverage quality standards and consistency. It covers rota coordination and shift cover, acting as the link between the cafe and other departments, monitoring and analysing KPIs to make data-driven decisions on store performance, implementing store policies, managing supplier relationships including stock control and ordering, handling cash-management procedures, keeping the cafe clean with regular equipment maintenance, and ensuring HACCP and food-safety compliance. The manager holds regular team meetings, attends cluster meetings and weekly one-to-ones with the District Manager. Admin work is capped at no more than 20 per cent of total hours; the manager works every other weekend plus one opening and one closing shift per week. Requirements: proven leadership experience managing and developing teams, strong organisational and time-management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of food-safety and HACCP rules, flexibility including weekends and holidays, and a genuine love of quality coffee and baked goods.
