FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBER Barista / Cashier / Café Associate (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Position Overview
We are hiring a Front of House Team Member to support all café operations.
This is a flexible, multi-task role that includes barista work, cashier responsibilities, beverage preparation, and general café support depending on daily operations.
You will be part of a small, growing team in a hands-on, fast-paced all-day café environment.

Responsibilities
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other beverages
• Take customer orders and process payments using a POS system
• Provide friendly, efficient, and consistent customer service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area
• Support opening and closing procedures
• Assist with food and beverage service during peak hours
• Work across all front-of-house stations as needed
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
• Previous café or customer service experience preferred (not required – training provided)
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
• Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for weekends and flexible shifts
• Basic English communication skills required

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods (typically 6–8 hours per shift)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally (milk crates, supplies, boxes)
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements (POS system, beverage preparation)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Exposure to hot and cold equipment (espresso machines, refrigerators, ice machines)

Compensation
$13.00 per hour base wage, plus participation in a shared front-of-house tip pool.
This position is eligible for a tip credit as permitted under federal and Florida law. The employer may apply a tip credit toward its minimum wage obligations. Base hourly wages are paid directly by the employer and are not dependent on tips.
Tips are distributed through a lawful tip pool among eligible front-of-house employees and will vary based on business volume, shift, and guest activity. Tips are not guaranteed.
Total compensation includes hourly wages plus participation in the tip pool, which may vary based on business volume and hours worked and is not guaranteed.
