About This Role

The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Embedded Systems Engineer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will spearhead the design and optimization of the embedded systems integrated into our appliance product line. Operating within a dynamic Agile framework, you will contribute to the complete product lifecycle—from initial concept and prototyping through to deployment and maintenance. This position offers a unique opportunity to merge core embedded systems engineering with emerging technologies, guiding projects through hardware component scouting, firmware and algorithm development, and ultimately, seamless IoT cloud integration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Translate product requirements collected among internal teams into detailed technical specifications for both hardware behavior and our software ecosystem.
- Participate in hardware design reviews, schematic validation, and board bring-up processes for new PCB revisions to troubleshoot hardware-firmware integration.
- Develop and/or validate low-level drivers and firmware to ensure precise control of hardware components, microcontrollers, sensors, and peripherals.
- Codesign/contribute to implement clean, maintainable, and well-documented C/C++ firmware for our appliances, especially the IoT-enabled ones.
- Establish secure and seamless device-to-cloud connectivity leveraging platforms such as AWS IoT or Azure IoT.
- Collaborate with Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) partners to support the transition from prototyping to mass production, assisting with test fixtures and resolving production-line issues.
- Streamline the development lifecycle by utilizing and contributing to CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment.
- Partner cross-functionally with cloud, mobile, and UX teams to define system APIs and deliver a unified end-to-end user experience.
- Drive continuous delivery within an Agile/Scrum framework, actively participating in sprint planning and iterative feature development.
