Café Team Member

Shona’s Cafe is a scratch-made microbakery with a close-knit team and absolutely no room for divas. We bake from whole, locally sourced ingredients, serve with pride, and rely on each other to keep the whole thing humming along like a well-buttered crumpet.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a kitchen, doesn’t panic when things get busy, and understands that in a tiny café, teamwork isn’t optional. It’s survival.

### **What You’ll Actually Be Doing**
- Serving guests with warmth and efficiency
- Cooking and running food, clearing tables, keeping the front tidy
- Washing dishes. Then washing more dishes. Then somehow finding more dishes to wash.
- Helping with light prep and jumping in wherever needed
- Taking direction from Shona (the boss, the baker, the whirlwind) with professionalism and good humour
- Keeping the vibe welcoming and the standards high

### **You’ll Thrive Here If You:**
- Have real food service experience
- Can move quickly without losing your head
- Don’t mind working elbow-to-elbow in tight quarters
- Secretly (or not secretly) enjoy a spotless sink and an orderly workspace
- Take feedback without theatrics
- Show up on time and ready to graft
- Understand that small businesses run on accountability, kindness, and hustle
