Assistant General Manager

Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Assistant General Manager to join the team. Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. About the Position: In the Assistant General Manager role, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager by overseeing and leading the daily restaurant operations while fostering a culture of positivity, growth and teamwork. About You: You are a quality driven leader with a strong hospitality and service background whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally. Essential Duties: Ensuring a quality guest experience by managing all areas of the restaurant’s daily operations including private dining; Hiring, training, and development of employees and managers; Maintains professional relationships with other managers and subordinates in order to foster a culture of positivity, growth and teamwork; Hands on training and development of all service positions, specific areas to include: Guest Service, Etiquette, Food and Beverage Knowledge; Oversees scheduling for front of house; Daily reconciliation, invoicing, and inventory.
