The Alte Oper regularly welcomes leading international artists, orchestras, conductors and soloists, who perform in festivals and concert series.

Through our new International Outreach department, we are actively building bridges within Frankfurt’s international community. We engage with international companies, institutions, and individuals in the Rhine-Main region through specific English-language programmes, developing new forms of community building with the aim of audience development.

For this new and dynamic role, which will start as soon as possible, we are seeking an **International Outreach Assistant (m/f/d, 50%), initially on a fixed-term contract for two years.**

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the International Outreach Office in all administrative matters
- Event management, including organisational preparation and supervision of receptions and supporting programmes, as well as coordination with catering, internal departments and external partners
- Managing and administering ticket allocations, liaising directly with Frankfurt Ticket and guests
- Building and maintaining an international community database, as well as designing, drafting and sending personalised English-language communications via CRM systems (e.g. newsletters and event invitations)
- Independently creating and preparing content for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn), including posts, carousel posts, stories and short videos, in accordance with the editorial calendar

Your profile includes:
- Several years' experience in demanding back-office and event management roles, demonstrating strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills and confident liaison management.
- Stylish, personable and engaging communication with international figures, both face-to-face and in correspondence
- A strong service-oriented approach and a structured, results-driven way of working
- Willingness to attend selected evening or weekend events
- Proficiency in using MS Office programmes
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Experience in social media, ideally in content creation
- Confident, independent use of common platforms and tools, including video editing and post-production

We offer you:
- A varied role within a renowned cultural organisation
- A dedicated, supportive team with scope for your own ideas
- A workplace in the heart of Frankfurt’s cultural centre
- Partial remote working possible
- Attractive remuneration (in-house collective agreement) with additional public sector benefits
