Sous Chef

Place des Fêtes is the neighborhood wine bar from Redwood Hospitality, the team behind multiple award-winning concepts including Michelin-starred Oxalis, Cafe Mado, and Golden Ratio. We are seeking a thoughtful, organized, and motivated Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen team. This role is deeply involved in daily operations, menu development, systems organization, staff mentorship, and maintaining a positive, professional kitchen culture. We are looking for someone excited to grow with the company and take ownership within a collaborative and ambitious kitchen environment. This position works closely with our culinary leadership team and purveyors, with menus heavily guided by seasonality, product availability, and thoughtful sourcing throughout the year. Compensation for this position ranges from $65,000–$80,000 annually depending on experience. The upper end of the salary range is intended for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of professional cooking experience and at least 3+ years in senior kitchen leadership or management roles.
