Manager – Keen Coffee Bar

Keen Coffee is a specialty coffee roastery based in Utrecht. In August 2024, we opened our very own coffee tasting bar in the city center of Utrecht. In this unique concept, guests can explore and taste our full range of over 15 different coffee beans.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and driven manager to lead and further develop our flagship store. Together with the team, you will be the face of Keen Coffee and ensure every guest enjoys an unforgettable coffee experience.

## Who you are
- You have experience as a manager in the hospitality or coffee bar industry
- Specialty coffee is your passion
- You are hands-on, hospitable, and customer-focused
- You are driven, entrepreneurial, and proactive
- You have strong skills in building, guiding, and motivating a team.

## What you will do
As the manager, you will be responsible for:
- The daily operations of Keen Coffee Bar
- Close collaboration with the head barista’s
- Planning, leading, and motivating the team
- Maintaining high standards of service, coffee, and food quality
- Creating a welcoming and customer-focused atmosphere
- Monitoring weekly sales and analysing reports
- Achieving business goals and targets.

## What we expect
- You actively work in the bar and are dedicated to providing every guest with a memorable experience
- You have a strong interest in specialty coffee and want to learn and share everything: brewing methods, flavours, origins, and producers (barista experience is a plus)
- You have at least 3 years of management experience in hospitality with proven leadership skills
- You are organised and able to plan team schedules, orders, and daily operations efficiently
- You are familiar with POS systems and reporting to manage budgets and profitability
