About This Role

Lead and empower warm and caring store Tim Mates (employees) with empathy to ensure that the world class Tim Hortons ‘Guest experience’ is consistently provided for all guests through quality store operations.

Once you are here, you will:

- Ensure that the Tim Hortons ‘Guest experience’ is consistently provided for all guests
- Ensure all company policies, store operating standards and procedures are effectively communicated to Tim Mates
- Ensure store appearance and equipment are maintained to the highest possible standards, and follow safety and security guidelines to create and maintain the safest environment possible for Tim Mates and guests
- Improve business performance by connecting with diverse cross-sections of community; influences outside the store
- Integrate customer trends and market/industry knowledge into future strategies and approach to customer service
- Maximize store profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales, assisting in managing inventory and in controlling materials/employees costs
- Wholly accountable for the store’s financial contribution, producing daily, weekly and quarterly financial reports
- Ensure proper types and amounts of materials, supplies and merchandise are ordered and stocked
- Embrace changing business priorities; leverage changes to improve transactions and customer satisfaction scores
- Have in-depth understanding of business measures and show trends between actions taken and results achieved
- Understand the cost of waste and inefficiency; focus on reducing waste as a method for maximizing profit
- Foster a learning environment; demonstrate the importance of on-the-job learning
- Advocate high potential and high performing Tim Mates for promotions and development opportunities
- Determine daily and weekly staffing requirements
- Resolve Team Member complaints and concerns
- Provide ongoing performance feedback, counsel Team Members when necessary
- Respond calmly and professionally when authority is challenged
