We are looking for an experienced and reliable Barista to join our team at our vibrant play cafe. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Training Start Date: May 18th Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items according to established recipes • Operate the register and handle sales transactions accurately • Manage play area check-ins and ensure a smooth, welcoming process for guests • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout the cafe and play space • Follow daily procedures, policies, and health/safety standards • Perform regular cleaning tasks, including dining areas, kitchen space, and play areas • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service at all times • Work with speed and efficiency in the kitchen, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency while maintaining quality and accuracy in food preparation Qualifications: • Previous barista or cafe experience required • Strong multitasking and time-management skills • Comfortable working in a busy, family-oriented environment • Understanding of the importance of urgency and workflow in a kitchen setting • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented • Open availability preferred; Saturday availability is required Compensation: • Competitive pay based on experience, plus tips
