PM Deli Clerk - Marketime

**Responsibilities:**
- Provide friendly, professional customer service; recommend and suggest products
- Assist customers with item location and general store questions
- Rotate and stock produce items; keep all displays full, fresh, and clean
- Use wrap station, weigh, and price according to standards
- Keep work area and sales floor clutter free and organized
- Ensure department cleanliness, sanitation, & safety standards are met
- Ensure all items are in file and signs/shelf tags are correct
- Work safely and effectively with kitchen knives; cut fruits and vegetables
- Check incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, freshness, and quality
- Place orders as needed
- Answer phone as needed
- Participate in team meetings
- Abide by company policies and procedures
**Qualifications:**
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Possession of valid FOOD HANDLER PERMIT
- Previous experience in food industry is preferred
- Evening and weekend availability
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive knowledge and passion for fresh ingredients is preferred
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Full body motion (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching).
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. regularly
