Role Overview:The Patachou, Inc. Host must be energetic, friendly, professional and confident. Our Hosts influence the guest’s first impression of our organization and play an integral role in their experience. The Host controls the flow of the restaurant through greeting, strategic seating, and maintaining calm energy during peak dining times. The Patachou, Inc. Host will be knowledgeable of the menu, specials, and company-wide roles and responsibilities to help field guests’ FAQ’s.Responsibilities:Promptly make eye contact, smile and greet guests as they enter the restaurantWarmly welcome guests and determine the most efficient way to accommodate their dining experiencePractice keen organizational acumenMaintain flow and rotation of seatingAnswer phone calls and efficiently satisfy guests’ wants and needsMaintain a wait list with accurate wait timesAssist service staff with bussing and resetting tables to quickly seat guestsObserve and read guest body language to alert service staff of needsComplete each dining experience with a warm and genuine thank you, farewell and encouragement for a soon returnAdhere to the Patachou, Inc. employee handbook and Martha’s Book of Rules at all timesOther duties as assigned
