Coffee Trainee Programme

Volcafe (Kyagalanyi Coffee Ltd) — Uganda's oldest licensed coffee exporter and a leading global green coffee trader operating in 20+ countries — invites passionate graduates to join its Coffee Trainee Programme. The programme is a 2-year minimum immersive career launchpad based initially at Kyagalanyi Coffee Ltd's Kampala (Namanve) facility, with mandatory international rotations designed to build technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and deep industry expertise across the full coffee supply chain. Kyagalanyi Coffee sources and exports Robusta and Arabica coffee from all major Uganda growing regions, including the Greater Rwenzori and Mt. Elgon areas, and runs washing stations in Bugoye, Kisinga, and Mount Elgon.

Trainees rotate through: Coffee sourcing & purchasing | Quality assurance | Operations & production | Sustainability | Trading & logistics | Finance. Upon successful completion, clear career development pathways are offered within Volcafe's global network.
