Program Managers. Suited for Those Starting Out on Their Careers

Kunzum is a place for ideas, and we are seeking team members to manage some of these. You will assigned one or more of these to manage independently. Some of these include but not limited to:

– #TimeToRead: An initiative to promote reading in society and will include events and enrolling influential voices to spread the good word.
– Graduate Program in Reading: Will entail enrolling people for the program, monitoring their progress, awarding certificates, and highlighting these readers across our channels.
– Kunzum Shop (online): Will entail managing what we post on the site including images and content, processing orders, promoting the site etc.
– Events: We host all kinds of events at Kunzum – managing some of these.
– Kunzum Reading List: Reach out to authors, publishers and other influential voices to share their recommendations just like Oprah does for her book club. Capture these lists, make content and promotional materials, display these books as special offerings in store and online, spread the word and manage responses.
– Book Bees: Interacting with young readers to enrol them in the awards program, inviting them to events, suggesting books to read etc.
– The Mobile Bookshop: Set up pop-up stores in schools, RWAs and corporates.

**EXPECTATIONS**
Must be a well organized professional, articulate, and a stickler for getting things done on schedule. The written word must be error-free. We value professionalism, an attitude of perfection, and proactive team members who do not wait for every instruction but take the initiative themselves. We grant team members complete autonomy and expects them to live upto that trust.

Interaction with customers face-to-face to recommend books and to engage them in events is an essential part of your job and you should be comfortable doing so.

Your educational background, work experience and age will not be a deterrent when being considered for this position.

**REMUNERATION**
Flexible, depending on candidate. These positions are for early-stage professionals so expect to be earning accordingly. You will be granted annual increments / bonuses based on your performance.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
– Full time position, based in GK2, New Delhi.
– We work 6 days a week. Usual off will be Monday. Should there be work on Monday, you will be given a compensatory off.
– A working day is 8:30 hours including a 30-minute lunch break. You can expect to start at 11:00 am and end at 7:30 pm. But there may be days when you would be required to stay late in which case you can start your day late.
– You will be allowed 12 days casual leaves + 12 festival holidays in a year.
– Do understand we are in the retail business and the above are expected in such sectors.
