A Lead Volunteer is responsible for assisting with the day to day running and promotion of Newquay Community Orchard. This includes working closely with the NCO staff to ensure that the project is delivered efficiently and to the high standards expected. As a Lead Volunteer you should set a good example in your conduct and attitude towards the Newquay Community Orchard project. You should be a role model and mentor to those in need and be in constant communication with Newquay Community Orchard staff members. On occasions you will be asked to lead a small group in site development or maintenance and as such the role is subject to a basic DBS check. You will be asked to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, and within health and safety guidelines. You will report to Site Lead with any issues that arise.
