Head of Community Management (f/m/d)

As Head of Community Management (f/m/d), you play a key role in building, managing, and growing our global community of outdoor enthusiasts, while leading our Community Team based in Immenstadt. You lead and develop our German Community Team, providing both operational and strategic guidance. You coordinate closely with our international community teams, share best practices, manage global projects, and report on results. You are responsible for community support (support desk, app stores, digital channels) – including scheduled weekend and public holiday shifts (with compensatory time off). You design and deliver community campaigns and projects, including digital initiatives, live activities, and Pro/Pro+ subscription activations. You work closely with our marketing and product teams, contribute to full-funnel campaigns, and further develop newsletters, FAQs, and standardized workflows. You represent Outdooractive at events and trade shows in Germany, across the DACH region, and occasionally internationally. You track and report on relevant KPIs (community growth, engagement, subscription revenue) and use these insights to drive continuous improvement.
