Beverage Manager

We’re looking for a creative professional to lead our team, develop menus, implement training programmes & help grow the reputation & culture of our venues. Union Electric Bar & Rooftop is an award winning cocktail & gin bar with good vibes & high energy – we love hip hop, RnB classics, rum shots & party shirts. We’re a tight team with a lot of love to give & there will be many opportunities for progression within the company for the right people.

Our business is expanding rapidly & we’re looking for a creative leader & hospitality professional as we expand into our third venue.

The role will include unique responsibilities, including but not limited to:
– Day to day venue management & leadership of our awesome team at Union Electric, maintaining upkeep, procedures & implementing new strategies for efficiency & growth
– Our beverage programme across 2 venues – new menu development & creation, bar & stock management, ordering
– Hiring & training new bar staff & managing the training program, rostering & staff performance management
– Fostering a culture of passion & fun
– Representing Union Electric Group at industry events & initiatives
– Being an absolute legend!

This role reports directly to the Groups Venue Manager. You must have an understanding of world class cocktail culture, drinks trends & techniques. Ideally you will have 2+ years experience in a similar hospitality role with experience in a fast paced venue, running shifts, menu creation, opening/closing & cash up. We need someone who is passionate about well crafted cocktails, gin, rum, providing exceptional customer service & having fun. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. A positive attitude, great personality & excellent communication skills are essential.

This position will be a salaried senior staff member role paying award rates. There will be potential for future progression as our business grows & further training will be provided.
