Marketing & Digital Manager: Drive the Future of a Historic Icon
Location: Filoli Historic House & Garden, Woodside, CA
Position Type: Full-time, Year-round, Salaried, Benefit Eligible
Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (Includes some weekends & evenings)
Salary Range: $102,000 to $115,000 (Depending upon candidate experience)
Reports to: VP of Marketing

We are seeking a Marketing & Digital Manager who is a "scrappy" entrepreneurial leader, a digital native, and a strategic generalist. The Role: Where Strategy Meets Action
This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role. You aren't just managing a brand; you are the operational owner of our digital ecosystem. You will translate high-level visitation goals into daily execution that drives measurable revenue.
We need someone who can span the distance between long-term brand storytelling and short-term commercial "wins." You’ll be a visible leader, working cross-functionally to ensure every guest journey—from the first click to the garden gate—is seamless and inspiring.
What You’ll Lead
1. Integrated Strategy & Campaign Leadership
- Owns and champions the integrated marketing strategy, campaign planning, and performance optimization across the full marketing mix - digital, email, social, and trade sales.
- Use audience segmentation and customer journey mapping to drive admission and event sales.
2. Digital Ecosystem Management & Performance
- Oversee the entire digital ecosystem, including the corporate website (CMS), email marketing, CRM, paid media, and analytics platforms.
- Own the strategy for paid media (Google/Meta Ads) with a relentless focus on ROI and ROAS.
- Drive SEO, email marketing (CRM), and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) to turn web traffic into loyal visitors.
3. Commercial & Channel Collaboration
- Brings strong commercial acumen to marketing planning, with an understanding of ticketing, pricing sensitivity, promotional mechanics, and revenue drivers.
- Partner with Programming, Development, and Guest Experience teams to activate campaigns that hit revenue targets.
- Support trade and group sales channels with targeted insights and high-impact collateral.
4. Team & Agency Management
- Directly supervise the Digital Marketing Specialist and manage external agencies (SEO, web dev, and creative).
- Manage the marketing budget and media allocation with precision and efficiency.
Who You Are
- The Experience: You have 5+ years in marketing, ideally within visitor attractions, tourism, or cultural institutions.
- The Tech Stack: You are a pro with GA4, WordPress, CRM platforms, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- The Mindset: You are "digital-first" but commercially savvy. You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get a campaign across the finish line.
- The Leader: You possess high emotional intelligence and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
