Operations Manager

We are looking for applications from those who have excellent people and organisational skills who are passionate about making a difference, enjoy helping others and have energetic, motivating and positive personalities.

The project will re-use and distribute surplus food supplied from local supermarkets and provide people on low incomes with free or affordable fresh and cooked food. Cookery classes will also be available to help people learn how to make easy, nutritious meals with the free food (and a few basic stock cupboard items) and reduce waste to landfill. We will also hold events to encourage waste prevention and develop community composting. The Administator/Volunteer Organiser will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the ‘Feed People Not Landfill’ Project and for recruiting/training/co-ordinating food hub volunteers.
