Barista

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Barista to join our small specialty coffee shop. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, and helping create a welcoming environment for our guests. Part-time flexible barista roles available, up to three days a week in Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Coffee Preparation:**
- Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, batch, and specialty beverages.
- Maintain consistency and quality in every drink, following our recipes and standards.

- **Customer Service:**
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately, ensuring a positive experience.
- Provide recommendations and share knowledge about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu items.

- **Shop Operations:**
- Keep the coffee bar and seating area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring freshness.

- **Team Collaboration:**
- Work closely with team members to create a supportive and efficient work environment.

- **Continuous Learning:**
- Stay informed about coffee trends, techniques, and our shop’s offerings to enhance customer interactions.

**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a barista.
- A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about brewing and preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends.
