Kookaburra Baristas are the vanguard of the Kookaburra experience. They don’t just make drinks; they create experiences. Our baristas are skilled in espresso, coffee, and tea preparation, all while delivering next-level customer service and managing the flow of a busy café with confidence. The vetting process is tough, and the training is extensive but if you’re passionate about coffee, community, and excellence, this is the position for you. Base pay: $11/hr + tips + bonuses Average total pay: $18–$22/hr (including tips and incentives) Weekend differential: +$1/hr for all Saturday & Sunday shifts Float differential: +$0.75/hr for employees who train and work across multiple locations Full-time bonus: $50/month for maintaining full-time status (35+ hours/week, consistent performance) Holiday pay: 2x pay for hours worked on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day Benefits: Free coffee, employee discount, dental after 6 months, and extensive training & career advancement opportunities.
