Seasonal Job Categories: Retail Positions (General Store, Trading Post, Sweet Shop and Pick Your Own) Responsibilities: interacting with guests, providing good customer service, restocking, running register. Custodial Positions (Barnyard or Courtyard) Responsibilities: wiping down tables, emptying trash cans, weeding flowerbeds, picking up litter, cleaning restrooms, and answering guests’ questions. Attendant Positions (Giant Slinger, Pedal Carts, Hay Chute Slide, Jump Pillow, Apple Blasters, Paintball, Battle Zone and more) Responsibilities: providing instructions about activity as needed and keep an eye out for safety. Food Service Positions (Lemonade stands, The Creamery, The Country Kitchen, Pizza and Pop, The Barn and Grill & Grandma’s Kitchen) Responsibilities: Our food service areas have a range of responsibilities, some include cooking others just serving, some require running a register. Some are more behind the scenes, but most require interacting with guests. Entertainment Positions: Our actors work primarily at the Pig Races, but also perform smaller shows on our Discovery Barn Stage Responsibilities: Attending extra rehearsals, memorize lines and blocking, and presenting an engaging show to the audience. Public Speaking Positions: Maze greeter and Farm Host Responsibilities: Speaking in front of small groups, be outgoing, enthusiastic while working with guests, and making property wide announcements over sound system. Maze Attendant Positions: Maze Guide, Victory Attendant, Maze Tower, Corn Café Responsibilities: Maze employees should be outgoing, able to initiate conversations with guests, self-motivated, able to stay on task, and detail oriented. This job requires learning the maze and mailbox locations in order to give directions to guests and involves custodial work. It also requires long periods of walking through the maze and being on your feet, as well as working in a 30-foot tower. When working in the Corn Café, maze attendants will be required to run a register. We are currently accepting applications for ages 16 and older.
