Waiter / Waitress

To be a successful Waiter or Waitress, should be polite with our customers and make sure they enjoy their meals. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our Kitchen Staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly. Job Description: • Greet and escort customers to their tables. • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies) • Take and serve food and beverage orders. • Make menu recommendations and answer questions about the food and beverage offerings. • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses and clear dirty dishes. • Provide excellent customer service. Career Level: Employee Years of Experience: 2 Years Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a restaurant setting. • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems. • Flexibility to work in shifts • Hands-on experience to handle cash and credit card transactions. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
