We are now recruiting for the position of Head Chef to join the Seven Districts team at our flagship coffee house in Lincoln, just outside of Welton on Market Rasen Road (A46). Seven Districts Coffee is a speciality coffee roaster with an appetite for trying something new and building a great community. This could be the place for you to really make an impact. We currently serve incredible bagels, mouthwatering salads & flaky sausage rolls, all with homemade condiments and we need somebody to take on the baton and lead the way. A great applicant will be highly organised, efficient and reliable to support the GM in the day-to-day running of this busy coffee house, and able to produce great food, on time. The role is daytimes only and although there are no evening shifts, you must be prepared for an early start, kicking off from 7am daily. Essential skills of the Head of Food team member: Have at least 2 years experience in the catering industry. Enjoy cooking with fresh ingredients. Have the desire to set and maintain high standards, always delivering above customer expectation. Be organised, hard-working and reliable. Be flexible and highly motivated to work within a small but dedicated team. Have a solid understanding of current Food Hygiene regulations. Be able to ‘own your zone’ and help encourage and grow others around you. Based on a 20-30 hour working week, weekends & weekdays, usual working hours between 7am-3pm.
