We're seeking enthusiastic Part-Time and Full-Time Baristas to join our vibrant team! No experience needed - we provide comprehensive training. As a PopUp® Barista, you'll enjoy a flexible schedule, an exciting work environment with great music and state-of-the-art equipment, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our guests and fellow Baristas. Your main duties will include creating delicious drinks, taking orders with a smile, and keeping our Drink Thru clean and tidy. Popup Barista Responsibilities & Job Duties: Be safe and sanitary. Be honest. Theft- minor or major is not tolerated. Be happy. Be presentable with good hygiene, good appearance and appropriate clean clothes. Have good availability to work needed shifts. Be able to correctly and quickly make all drinks and perform all prep and cleaning duties. Be enthusiastic, friendly, upbeat, energetic and engaging with guests, chat with guests and coworkers and engage in friendly conversations. Be friendly, positive and supportive with co-workers- you must thrive in a team environment. Deep knowledge of our menu- always 'ask and educate' to make sure the guest is getting exactly what they are looking for. Offer helpful suggestions and recommendations. Use our POS system correctly, take and confirm guest orders. Accept guest payments, count back change correctly. Work productively and efficiently with a sense of urgency no matter how busy or slow we are. Be able to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. Be willing and able to be coached and taught. Be calm and cool-headed in a fast-paced work environment. Sexual Harassment or any harassment is not tolerated. 17. Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, as well as the use of tobacco, while 'on the clock' at PopUp Drink Thru is strictly prohibited. Violations of this policy will result in immediate termination. These policies ensure a safe, professional, and productive workplace for all cast members. Physical Job Requirements Can stand comfortably and work on your feet for hours at a time and be able to bend, squat etc, as necessary to prepare drinks and clean. Be willing and able to follow all Health Department rules. Able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Can work quickly, accurately and safely with hot water, coffee, dairy, liquids, ice etc. Able to safely ascend or descend on ladders, ramps and step ladders. Able to engage in frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrists and spine. Able to read and have constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances. Can walk between cars in drive thru lanes, staying safety conscious and aware of surroundings. Can safely use a utility knife. Can be clocked in and ready to work in their assigned position when their shift begins. No early or late clock-ins without Manager permission. Can work outside in all weather conditions. It is important to be physically fit and able to perform these tasks comfortably to succeed as a barista.
