Café Front End Worker

Provide direct and ongoing supervision, support, and instruction to students, while overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the dormitory.

Essential Job Function:

- Provide direct and ongoing supervision, support, and instruction to students, while coordinating the day-to-day operations of the dormitory.
- Provide an engaged, structured and supportive dormitory environment designed to promote growth and independence through assessment, direct instruction, positive reinforcement and the setting of clear and consistent expectations.
- Meet the individual and collective needs of assigned students relative to their unique learning styles.

Job Classification:
- Full Time – Sunday-Wednesday (Shifts include evenings and weekends)
- Full Time – Wednesday-Saturday (Shifts include evenings and weekends)
- Residential Instructor (day shift/no overnights) pay range: $32,000- $37,500.
- Residential Instructor (with overnights) pay range: $62,500 – $74,500.
- Candidates who bring advanced expertise or highly specialized skills may be eligible for compensation above the posted range.

Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the School mission and adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Experience working with students with learning and intellectual disabilities and/or a willingness to engage in professional development to gain the knowledge necessary to effectively work with the Riverview student profile.
- Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comply with School, OSHA and Board of Health safety guidelines and training.
- Maintain current CPR, First Aid and EpiPen certifications.
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with students, families and co-workers.
- Current Valid Driver’s license
- CORI and Fingerprinting clearance
- Legal authorization to work in the US
