Cafe Host

We are looking for someone who loves making content for social media and whose style matches exactly with what we want to represent! Are you, like us, convinced of our mission? Then join us in the role of social media content creator! This is what you will do: Make content during actual events (e.g. film, make photos, etc.), Post this content on our Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and other channels, Monitor engagement, reply to comments, Actively look for collabs with other makers, Involve team members, volunteers and members in content creation, Monitor conversion and adjust accordingly. Who are we looking for: Content creation comes naturally to you, You think entrepreneurial and can focus on conversion and sales, Your style matches ours, You’re able to write well, You can work independently and take charge in your role, You’re confident in Dutch, or willing to take the challenge to learn on the job, You’re able to create outputs quickly without overthinking or striving for perfection, You believe in our mission and vision on language learning. Our style and types of content: We love content that is playful, personal, relatable or funny. Not too serious (but not too childish). It should be interesting to both native speakers and Dutch learners. Some examples are: A funny meme related to Dutch learning process or Dutch culture, A more serious post related to our Dutch courses, A funny and useful sentence in Dutch to learn, A story about a past event, A promo for a new food or drink on our menu, A promotion for a future event, Meet the team interview, And so on! Practical matters: You’re expected to take most of the content (video, photos) yourself. For best results this would mean you’d frequently attend different events for a short moment. Therefore it would be best if you lived close to the cafe and are flexible in your hours. Events are usually evenings and weekends. Professional camera equipment is nice to have, but not mandatory. A good quality phone camera will probably be enough. Outside of shooting content at the events you can generally work both at home or in the cafe, up to your preference.
