Part-time Breakfast Cook

As a day time line cook, you will play a key role in providing tasty meals for Comox Valley diners. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: Prepare and deliver consistent quality food items according to guest specifications. Complete opening and closing duties according to assigned shifts. Maintain consistent and clear communication with both the kitchen team and front of house. Maintain relevant kitchen records and food safe logs. Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen at all times. Aid in creating purchase orders for items required to prepare and deliver all menu items and all cleaning requirements. Look forward to a harmonious work-life balance and fun working environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Passionate about cooking good food. Positive attitude, responsible and strong work ethic. Professional dress and standards of hygiene. Ability to lift heavy items of up to 30 lbs. Flexible schedule, strong communication, and interpersonal skills. REQUIREMENTS: Dogwood Diploma (high school diploma). Ability to work 32+ hours per week. Foodsafe Level 1 certification (training will be provided if certificate not current). Ability to work early mornings. Reliable transportation. Wage Depending on knowledge and experience. Tip share.
