Cashier

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier at our donut shop. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the point of sale. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming attitude as they enter our shop.
- Ring up purchases accurately using the cash register and handle cash transactions efficiently.
- Provide information about flavors, specials, and promotions to customers.
- Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or issues in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
- Handle customer complaints or returns with a calm and understanding approach.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
- Check and replenish inventory levels of essential items for the next business day.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to remove dirt, debris, and dust.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, ensuring a high standard of hygiene.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture, countertops, and equipment.
- Empty and dispose of trash receptacles in accordance with established procedures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to maintain a streak-free and polished appearance.
- Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong numerical and basic math skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed.
- Basic knowledge of donut and coffee varieties and flavors is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights.
