Roaster Operative / Bean Team Operative

​**Job description** **Core Responsibilities:**Roasting coffee beans to customers specifications and in accordance with compliance standards, legislative standards for Food Safety and Health and Safety ​ **​Key Tasks:** - Work to the production roasting sheets to meet daily customer orders. - Ensure the efficient use of materials within the production facility to ensure all products are made according to the daily plan. - Contribute to the `continuous improvement` of systems and `ways of working` within your area to ensure we maintain all relevant accreditation certification. - Work to a `clean as you go` philosophy to ensure a `visit ready` facility. - Contribute to ensuring Health and Safety rules are adhered to. - Operating state of the art roasting technologies.​ **Competency :** Education: Must be literate, computer literate and numerate. Work / Skills: some lifting involved which requires the operator to be physically fit. Must be able to organize and have good attention to detail. Must be able to work on own initiative Shifts 6.00am – 2.00pm & 2.00pm – 10.00pm on a weekly rotational basis.
