Barista

At VIETNAM COFFEE REPUBLIC (VCR), we look for individuals with the same passion for coffee, food, cuisine and the love to create the best experience for customers. The VCR team expects a Barista to be not only someone who make drinks but also a salesperson, a team player and someone who cleans.

You have former experience in this job? That is a plus but not all that we are looking for. We are interested more in ‘who you are’ and ‘what you care about’. All skills can be mastered, with a lot of practice. We can ensure to provide you a good working environment so that you can learn, challenge, and be rewarded for all that hard work.

****You will**:**
- Regularly drink VCR’s coffee to understand, ensure VCR’s quality standards and maintain it, thereby develop your coffee sense.
- Support your teammates to create a welcoming experience.
- Recommend and help customers on choosing the food and cakes created by our talented culinary team – which includes presenting, serving the dishes and cleaning afterward.
- Update your knowledge about the drinks, food and products.
- Work with your team to make the operation of the store smooth and clean – these tasks may include washing dishes, cleaning, making sure there are enough materials, and replacing trash bags.
- Properly handle customers’ complaints and special requests.

****You are someone who**:**
- Understand the ‘Serving mindset’, like to serve and help others, like to smile, like group activities and love to learn.
- Always keep the working space and the store absolutely clean and tidy.
- Are reliable and consistent – your manager and teammates can always count on you to be on time, dress up properly and be ready to work.
- Are serious about the quality of work.
- Careful and detailed. You understand that every coffee cup or cuisine is only truly delicious when they are made wholeheartedly.

****You have**:**
- Basic math and calculation skill.
- Ability to communicate in basic English.
- Age of 18 or above.
