Our café is fast paced and our kitchen space is perfect for serving our customers' favorite sandwiches, burritos, breakfast sandwiches, house-made pastries and more. The line cook needs to work quickly and neatly to make orders as they come in. The applicant must work well in a team, women-led environment.

prep duties include cutting vegetables, making breakfast rite ingredients, baking our house-made pastries, making scratch sauces, building acaí & yogurt bowls. We’re the perfect non-kitchen kitchen where our best employees come from a love of baking, eating and being creative, rather than a traditional restaurant background.

basic requirements include being kind, following direction, having a desire to make the best product possible, moving quickly with intention, cleaning up after oneself and multitasking. must be able to work individually and with a team.

Salt also serves Stumptown coffee, craft cocktails, local beer, wine, Tillamook ice cream milkshakes, real fruit smoothies, Steven Smith Tea, etc. We have a large array of handmade retail items including local artist's work, artisan snacks and home-goods.
