Part-time Barista

Come join the Nautilus Coffee Co. Brew Crew! We are looking for part-time Baristas to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various coffee drinks, tea, and specialty sodas. Baristas must have availability to be scheduled on the weekends. Other responsibilities include educating guests about the menu, taking orders, recommending drinks, and up-selling items. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and either prior knowledge of how brewing equipment operates or a willingness to learn. Interest in themed, story-based experiences is a plus, as The Brew Crew will be an extension of the NCC story, immersing our guests in the overall experience. **Overview of Responsibilities** - Greet and interact with customers - Assist customers with our offerings and answer their questions regarding ingredients - Take orders with attention to details (e.g. dairy preferences, etc.) - Prepare beverages following the instructions - Serve beverages and package products - Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) - Keep the carts, counters, and coffee shop clean - Ensure equipment operates properly and report any needed maintenance - Comply with health and safety regulations - Communicate customer feedback to managers and make recommendations for improvement - Availability to be scheduled weekends **Skills** - Flexibility to work various shifts - Coffee brewing and drink making - Basic math skills - Excellent communication skills - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to gauge customers’ preferences **Job Type: Part-time** **Pay: Competitive pay based on experience.** **Supplemental Pay: Tips** **Schedule:** - Day shift - Holidays - Weekend availability **Work Location:** - 130 W.
