Service Assistant Saturdays - 20%

What we are looking for:

- Appropriate work permit for Switzerland (B or C permit or citizenship)
- Very good knowledge of English and ideally some German language proficiency
- Experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery
- Friendly manner and willingness to work both independently and in a small team
- Ideally, experience in preparing simple dishes such as scrambled eggs, fried eggs or poached eggs

Your tasks:
- Responsible for managing the food preparation of the kitchen for the cafe - making sandwich fillings and sandwiches, assembling or packaging products, cutting desserts, displaying food for service
- Preparing and packaging all customer preorders
- Maintaining systems for good stock management including inventory control
- Working with our baker to form breads or assist decorating
- Baking breads or desserts
- Simple cooking tasks like making eggs in multiple ways
- On Saturdays responsible for monitoring food levels throughout service and organizing top ups
- On Saturdays possibly helping the service team upstairs to keep on top of dishes and deliver food or drinks to tables
